The Wearing detection overview page helps you review the wearing compliance of patients monitored by your clinic.
You can use this page to quickly identify patients with low compliance and review wearing data across your clinic.
Step 1: Open the Wearing detection overview page
- Log into the Care Portal.
- Click Wearing detection overview in the left navigation menu.
Step 2: Search and filter patients
On the left side of the page, you can search and filter the patient list.
You can:
- Search by patient name
- Filter by compliance level
- Filter by patient status
Step 3: Choose the time period
By default, the page displays data from the last 4 weeks, grouped by day.
At the top of the page, select the period you want to review.
You can view data from:
- The last 4 weeks
- The last 12 weeks
You can also choose to display the information by:
- Day
- Week
Step 4: Review clinic compliance
The Clinic compliance score shows the average compliance percentage for active patients during the selected period.
Next to it, you will find the Patient compliance distribution. This section shows the number of patients with high or low compliance during the selected period.
Compliance is calculated based on how long EmbraceMini was worn each day.
If you hover over the icon next to either metric, a description is displayed explaining what the term means and how it is calculated.
Step 5: Review patient compliance
The main section of the page displays all patients assigned to your clinic.
For each patient, you will see:
- Patient status
- Average compliance score
- A compliance table for each day or week, depending on the selected view
The compliance table uses the following indicators:
-
Green rectangle: EmbraceMini was worn correctly and recorded data
-
Red rectangle: EmbraceMini was not worn correctly, was not worn, or was not recording data
- ⬜️ Gray rectangle: The patient was not being monitored because there was no active monitoring session
You may notice several red rectangles near the end of a monitoring session. This does not always indicate that the patient was not wearing EmbraceMini or that the device stopped recording.
To verify whether monitoring was active:
1. Open the Monitoring sessions page in the patient's profile.
2. Review the session start and end dates.
Once a monitoring session reaches its end date, data is no longer included in compliance calculations. As a result, red rectangles may appear near the end of the compliance timeline, even if the patient continues wearing EmbraceMini.
Step 6: View detailed monitoring information
Hover over a green or red rectangle to view additional details.
The tooltip shows:
- Time worn correctly.
- Time not worn correctly: Indicates that EmbraceMini was not worn or was not positioned correctly. We recommend ensuring that EmbraceMini is worn correctly at all times. For more information, see How to wear EmbraceMini.
- Time not recording: Indicates that wearing data is unavailable because EmbraceMini was not recording or because the collected data has not yet been uploaded.
- Some conditions may result in missing data even when EmbraceMini is being worn:
- EmbraceMini is charging: Recording stops while the wearable is charging. All onboard sensors are disabled, resulting in no recorded data.
-No Bluetooth connection: If EmbraceMini is out of Bluetooth range, Bluetooth is disabled, or the wearable is unpaired, it cannot sync collected data with the PKG Monitor app. This may result in missing data.
- No Internet connection: If the smartphone does not have an internet connection, data cannot be uploaded to the Care Portal. EmbraceMini can continue recording data, and the PKG Monitor app will upload the data automatically once an internet connection is restored.
- PKG Monitor app is not running: The PKG Monitor app must be allowed to run in the background to sync and upload data. Some Android devices also require battery optimization settings to be disabled for the PKG Monitor app to prevent unexpected disconnections. For more information, see Configure your smartphone to use PKG Monitor.
- The patient logged out: If the patient logs out of the PKG Monitor app, collected data cannot be synced and uploaded to the Care Portal. EmbraceMini may continue recording data locally.
- EmbraceMini onboard memory is full: If EmbraceMini loses connection with the PKG Monitor app, it continues recording data and stores it in onboard memory. Once the memory reaches capacity, EmbraceMini stops recording new data until it reconnects and syncs with the app.
