This guide explains how to schedule a monitoring session in the Care Portal after a patient has already been created.
Prerequisites
Before scheduling a monitoring session, make sure that:
- You have access to the Care Portal
- The patient has already been added to the system
Step 1: Open the Patient Profile
Log in to the Care Portal and navigate to the patients list.
Step 2: Start a New Monitoring Session
Select or hover over the three dots located at the far right of the patient’s row, then tap Request monitoring session.
Step 3: Configure the Monitoring Details
Choose the Session type and click Next
Step 4: Add Medication Reminders
At this point, you will be prompted to choose whether you would like to set a Levodopa Reminder.
- If you do not want any medication reminders, simply select No and press the Next button at the bottom right corner.
- If you want to set one or multiple reminders, select Yes.
After selecting Yes, additional fields will appear, allowing you to:
- Add the name of the medication the patient needs to take.
- Set the reminder time using the Hours and Minutes fields to choose when the notification will appear on the patient’s smartphone. To add additional reminders, press the Add another Time button and repeat the process for each new reminder.
- Add an optional comment, such as dosage information or any additional notes.
When you have finished adding all your reminders, press Next at the bottom right corner to proceed.
Step 5: Next Steps
After scheduling the monitoring session, you can proceed with assigning an EmbraceMini device to the patient.
