This article is for patients who experience memory issues with their EmbraceMini.
| If you see a red background in the PKG Monitor app and the LED on EmbraceMini blinks orange quickly, the memory may be full. |
| When you tap the status card or the background, you will see more details about the issue. |
EmbraceMini stores unsynced data in its internal memory for up to 14 days. If the device does not sync through Bluetooth during this time, the memory can become full. When this happens, the device stops collecting new data until it reconnects and syncs.
Data that is not recorded while the device memory is full cannot be recovered.
Follow the steps below to resolve the issue.
Do not uninstall the app during troubleshooting
Step 1: Reconnect and sync your device
- Press the button on EmbraceMini once to verify the device is on.
- Place EmbraceMini within 15 ft (5 m) of your paired smartphone.
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.
- Open the PKG Monitor app.
- Keep the app open and wait for the device to reconnect.
Once the connection is restored, stored data will sync automatically. Keep EmbraceMini close to the smartphone until all data has been synced. When syncing is complete, the memory will free up and data collection will resume.
Step 2: Pair the device again if needed
If syncing does not start:
- Open your phone’s Bluetooth settings, select EmbraceMini and tap Forget or Unpair (iOS devices, Android devices).
- Open the PKG Monitor app and follow the in-app instructions to pair EmbraceMini again.
If the memory does not free up after syncing, contact your clinic or Empatica for assistance.
