How to log a medication

This article explains how patients using the PKG Monitor App with the EmbraceMini device can log a medication dose during an active monitoring session.

Log a medication dose

You can log a medication dose directly from a reminder notification or from within the app.

Option 1: From the notification

When it is time to take your medication, you will receive a reminder notification on your smartphone.

Tap the Levodopa reminder notification. The PKG Monitor App will open automatically

3. When prompted “Would you like to log a levodopa dose?”, select Yes. 4. Tap Submit.

Once submitted, the medication entry will be marked as added, and a confirmation message will appear indicating that the task has been completed.

Option 2: From the PKG Monitor App

If the reminder notification is missed, you can go to the app directly to log a medication.

Open the  PKG Monitor App on your smartphone. On the Home screen, tap My tasks.

3. Select the medication task listed for the day.

4. When prompted “Would you like to log a levodopa dose?”, select Yes. 5. Tap Submit.

Once submitted, the medication entry will be marked as added, and a confirmation message will appear indicating that the task has been completed.
