PKG Monitor app status colors

The PKG Monitor app uses background colors on the main screen to show the current status of the system.

Each color helps you quickly understand whether everything is working correctly or if action is needed.


 

Teal status

 

A teal background means the PKG Monitor app and the EmbraceMini are working correctly.

Data is being collected and transferred as expected.


 

Yellow status

 

A yellow background means data is still being collected, but something needs your attention.

This may involve the PKG Monitor app and/or the EmbraceMini.

You can tap the status card or the background to see more details about the issue and the action required.

When the background is yellow, it is usually due to one of the following:

  • Bluetooth disconnection: make sure the PKG Monitor app is running in the background at all times, and keep the EmbraceMini close to the paired smartphone. For full troubleshooting steps, see Bluetooth disconnections between EmbraceMini and the PKG Monitor App.
  • Depleted or low battery: the battery is completely discharged or running low. Charge the device as soon as possible.
  • Internet connection issue: make sure Wi-Fi or cellular data is turned on and working properly. For troubleshooting steps, see Internet disconnections.

 

Red status

A red background means data collection and/or data transfer has stopped.

You need to take action to restore monitoring.

You can tap the status card or the background to view more details and see what action is required.

When the background is red, it is usually due to one of the following:

  • Bluetooth off: this occurs when Bluetooth is turned off on your smartphone. To restore the connection, turn Bluetooth on again.
  • Memory full: this occurs when the EmbraceMini has not synced via Bluetooth for about 14 days. Unsynced data is stored in the device’s internal memory for up to 14 days. If the memory becomes full and no connection is established, the device will stop collecting new data.

  • Prolonged internet connection issue: this occurs when the PKG Monitor app is disconnected from the internet for more than 6 hours. Reconnect your smartphone as soon as possible.
