EmbraceMini is not charging

This article explains what to do if EmbraceMini does not charge.

If the LED on EmbraceMini does not turn on when placed on the charger and connected to power, follow the steps below.

1. Check the charger position

Misalignment is a common cause of charging issues.

  1. Place EmbraceMini in the charger.
  2. Ensure the charger pins align with the device contacts.
  3. Gently adjust the device to confirm proper contact.
  4. If the LED turns white and starts blinking, it means that EmbraceMini is charging.

2. Confirm the power source

Using non-original accessories may prevent charging.

  1. Use the original charger and cable provided with the device.
  2. Connect to a standard 5V USB power source.
  3. Try a different wall outlet or USB port.

3. Inspect the charger

  1. Check for dust or debris around the charging contacts. Clean gently with a dry cloth.
  2. Examine the cable and charging pins for visible damage or deformation.

If you notice cracks, exposed wires, overheating, or bent pins, stop using the charger and contact us with photos of the issue.

4. Reboot while connected to power

If the battery is very low, the device may need a manual reboot.

  1. Leave EmbraceMini in the charger for 5 to 10 minutes.
  2. While still connected to power, press and hold the button for 15 seconds until the LED turns white.
